Fiduciary vs. Broker-Dealer
Operating as an SEC Investment Advisor Representative, we are legally bound to act as a fiduciary and a fee only advisor. We must always be completely transparent, act only in our clients’ best interest, and are obligated to avoid and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. As a fee only advisor, we sit on the same side of the table as our clients and are incentivized to grow the value of their portfolios and de-incentivized to lose them money. Unlike the big broker dealers, we are not allowed to accept commissions or kickbacks from the investment solutions we offer our clients
